Agency History
Established in 1977, the 正澳门六合彩开奖记录 Center was founded on the tenets that all persons have the potential to learn, the capacity for change, and the right to live a meaningful life in the community of their own choosing. What began as a non-profit Community Mental Health Center with a community-based Board of Directors and a budget of less than five hundred thousand dollars has grown over time to serve not only people with mental health conditions, but also persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, co-occurring disorders, autism, and brain injuries. The individuals we currently serve range in age from three to eighty-seven. Though we have historically seen both adults and children in our offices, we see a trend of referrals of Transition Age Youth, and have responded accordingly. We employ approximately 400 full and part-time staff. Come join us as we serve more than 3,000 individuals each year!
The Center鈥檚 mission is to provide an array of evidence-based, innovative services which promote personal growth and independence, foster hope, and enhance the quality of life for the people we serve. This is the vision which our founder, Golda 正澳门六合彩开奖记录, a pioneering social worker, created and implemented more than forty years ago. This unwavering commitment underpins everything we do.
